The Logline: What happens when you strip patriarchy of its default setting and flip the script...literally? A satirical street play that subjects men to the everyday reality, judgment, and systemic objectification faced by women. “A good dialogue makes an audience think for a minute. A great lyric makes them hum the truth for weeks.” We embedded the heaviest social critiques into simple, rhyming musical earworms. Why? Because rhythm creates recall. The crowd remembers the song, and the discomfort, long after the play ends.

Indian cinema and popular culture have normalized the everyday objectification of women, most blatantly through Bollywood "item songs." From catchy hooks to voyeuristic lyrics, society dances to the tune of casual sexism without batting an eye.
If preaching about everyday misogyny doesn't work, mockery will. We didn't just reverse the roles of men and women in household chores or office dynamics; we weaponized Bollywood’s own language against patriarchy. By flipping familiar item-song lyrics and street-tease tropes onto men, the audience is forced to laugh, and then immediately feel the discomfort of the reflection.

When the male protagonist’s engagement is forced upon him, we didn't just write a dramatic monologue. We summarized the stripping of agency into a melodic, four-line chorus that rhymed seamlessly to make the critique unforgettable:

The rhythmic repetition of aage/laage/dhage makes the societal habit of "forcing marriages without consent" echo in the mind like a nursery rhyme.
